A visit with G&G Wilson in Logan

For those who are far away, here are a couple of photos of your grandparents Wilson (or for those of our grandchildren, your great grandparents). They are doing fine. Grandpa Wilson will be 85 years old this month.

More time with the local grandchildren....

Well, we had grandchildren come and visit again and again, our postings are of them. We love it when their parents come and bring these little bundles of joy.
For some reason, Katie wanted to play in the bin with the stuffed animals, so she climed in and burrowed under them. She had so much fun.
"I can see you, can you see me?"
Matthew, Maggie and Emilie came and spent Saturday and Saturday night with us. Brian was with a fire department as part of his scholastic work.
As we were shopping, Grandpa saw an inexpensive set of plastic play tools and just had to spend the $7 on it for Matthew. Grandpa is an easy touch. But, Matthew certainly enjoyed playing with his new tools the rest of the day!

Margaret is smiling and able to roll over as she want's to. She can reach out for toys. Since she can't move forward or backward yet, she tends to pull the blanket she is on to pull the toys towards her!

NEW POSTING! Yeah!!!

OK, it is about time we posted something new. Not that there is really anything exciting happening in our small corner of the world. We enjoy spending time with family, especially getting to know the grandchildren as they grow up. Here are some photos of spending time with family...
Ben and Mary Alice's daughter Katy sharing a book with Grandma.

A shot showing the both of them.

Emilie, Brian and Stephanie in the kitchen making dinner.

Ben in the home office.

Ross with his grand-daughter, Margaret.

Ross and Matthew reading a book. I love reading to grandchildren, since they come and sit in your lap. You get to feel close to them and feel the love they have in their little hearts. The sweetness and joy they have about them.

Saturday afternoon in the backyard

Ahh, the joys of a warm July Saturday afternoon. You can spend some time in the back yard with the family and enjoy the sounds of children and grandchildren playing in the water and playing games with each other.
Katy, being almost 1 year old, isn't quite old enough to hold her own against Matthew.

But that's ok, Aunt Stephanie with her trusty water pistols is able to help defend Katy. Notice the garden the the background. We picked our first tomatoe of the season!

Matthew and Brian enjoyed squirting each other as well.

Katy did have fun by herself, chewing on the toys. Nothing like having the pool to yourself! (Even if it was the source of water for the squirt guns)

Grandma Wilson having fun being the Grandma! Here she is hold little Maggy (Margaret).

Now that everyone has been fed, things settle down to a more relaxed atmosphere.

That is except for Matthew. He wants to still get his dad a little more wet before the party ends.

Playing with Katie

Oooh, what does this do?

Hmm, not much, but it sure looks like an elephant.

Well, this toy is much more interesting, it makes music when you push something.
